A pocket is a small container that is part of or attached to something else. To pocket is to place something inside of. Literally, a pocket is a part of an article of clothing, a bag or some other functional item. There are also biological pockets, inexplicable pockets in space and time. This swatch collection is study of the formation of pockets, depicted through fabric manipulation techniques. The forms themselves are specifically mimicking biological formations of pockets, like tumors, intestines, wombs, etc. Each swatch explores the different functions of pocketing: the uniformity, the duality and the absence of a pocket.
